I had a Discord interview where I followed instructions closely but still didn’t progress, and it left me frustrated with the technical screen.

Recruiter screen — scheduling and initial coordination felt slow.
Technical screen — I solved/handled what the interviewer asked, but the screen felt “pointless,” with little discussion or flexibility.
Potential onsite — even with a good technical outcome, I wasn’t able to advance to the later rounds. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; the takeaway was that success in the tech screen doesn’t guarantee advancement if the process itself feels misaligned.
