Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a Discord Software Engineer role with a medium coding challenge around session timing and per-user state updates.

Coding on a shared environment — I solved a problem similar to one previously discussed publicly: track the latest session time per user, emit expired sessions, and update timestamps keyed by user ID. Coding was done on a codepad, and I was allowed to use Google and share my screen. Outcome: No offer result was recorded; I stayed in a controlled, search-and-iterate coding style rather than strictly solo-from-memory.
