I went through an average-difficulty, mainly architectural systems round that leaned heavily on how I think about real infrastructure concerns.

Hiring manager round — I discussed expectations and ways of working, and the interviewer explained the broader context of their data center footprint and collaboration with internal and third-party partners; we also covered compensation expectations.
Observability design discussion — I was asked how I would design an observability stack for servers in a data center, with emphasis on reasoning and approach rather than memorized answers. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer; the takeaway was that they were evaluating my system-level thinking and clarity.
