I went through an average-to-difficult Consultant recruitment that felt professional and well run by HR, including technical evaluation and a task/workshop, plus supportive logistics when relocation was involved.

HR interview — professional, supportive conversation focused on fit and process clarity.
Technical interview — deeper technical assessment with a team context.
Technical assignment/workshop — a structured task/workshop phase used to evaluate real capability.
Final acceptance/offer stage — HR-supported wrap-up, and in one case a partner confirmation after acceptance. Outcome: No offer for me, but the takeaway was that the experience emphasized thorough evaluation and strong HR coordination (even visa/booking support).
