I went through a fairly structured, recruiter-led hiring flow that became more selective with each step, spanning multiple rounds.

HR interview — I was first screened by HR.
Online assessment — I then completed an online test focused on non-technical skills (math and English in one case).
Technical interview with a specialist — After that, I had a technical conversation with a specialist.
Business/team evaluation — In another similar version, the process extended to an evaluation with a business manager and then a final meeting with the responsible business lead. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer, and the later steps felt like stronger gating than the early HR stage.
