I experienced a tougher technical track with assessments and longer-form work, and the process felt misaligned even when the engineering side went well.

HR screening — I started with an HR chat about my background and goals.
Technical assessment + panel — I completed a technical assessment and then a panel interview centered on problem-solving.
Second technical + home exercise — In another similar path, there were two technical interviews plus a take-home/home exercise that took several days. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; in one case the feedback praised my technical strength, but the lack of consultancy experience blocked the final decision—leading to a “wasted time” feeling.
