Herndon, VAPosted Aug 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went through three rounds that felt pretty smooth while I was doing them: an HR screen, a two-person panel, and then a department head conversation.

The panel had a few basic technical questions, and overall the communication during the interviews was good.

After the interviews, I took an aptitude test as the next step. I remember feeling positive during everything—like the interviewers were engaged and that I was being evaluated fairly.

Even though all the rounds went well in my opinion, I never heard back afterward. I was ghosted, which was especially disappointing because I had invested a few hours of time into the process. I didn’t receive an offer, and the lack of response was what made the experience feel unfortunate.
