London, EnglandPosted Oct 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a Dell Software Engineer role in a competitive, difficult process, with emphasis on experience and technical knowledge across multiple rounds.

Panel / multi-round technical process — I met a diverse set of interviewers from different backgrounds.
Experience + technical qualification rounds — the process included three rounds targeted at validating my experience and technical depth; overall it felt competitive given the applicant pool. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer, and my takeaway was to expect strong competition and consistent depth across rounds.
