Delivery Hero Software Engineer interview experience

Four interviews happened in sequence, and by the end they told me they were moving forward with someone who had more experience than me. I was rejected.

I left with the sense that the decision came down to experience level rather than anything dramatic in how the interviews went. It wasn’t described as hostile or unusually difficult, just disappointing because I didn’t get the chance to move beyond the comparison. The biggest reflection was how quickly the outcome turned when it became about matching their experience threshold.
