Delivery Hero Software Engineer interview experience

After that came a behavioral interview, and the final step was a bar raiser with a principal engineer.

I expected the bar raiser to focus on how well my values aligned, but the last round shifted into live coding. The interviewer stayed muted during the implementation and never said anything while I was writing code.

That sudden change and lack of interaction stressed me out and affected my performance. I didn’t receive an offer, and the bar raiser format shift was the part that hurt my confidence most.
