The recruiter interview felt professional, but the hiring manager interview was rough in a way that stood out immediately.

The person conducting it came across as unprofessional, disrespectful, and arrogant. By the end of the call, I explicitly withdrew from the process.

Even though the recruiter step was fine, the tone and behavior in that hiring manager round made it hard to continue. I didn’t end up moving forward or receiving an offer, and honestly the experience left me with a clear boundary about how much I was willing to tolerate. The biggest takeaway was that the process hinged on a single conversation that felt hostile rather than evaluative.
