Delivery Hero Software Engineer interview experience

My loop felt thorough, and the interviewers were engaged and competent.

The process included two system design interviews, one coding interview, a culture-fit style round focused on an action-response-outcome type situation, and a fifth step that I couldn’t quite remember afterward.

The system design topics were especially specific: one involved how to redesign and monitor distributed systems for GDPR PII compliance, with an emphasis on the right to be forgotten. Those rounds carried a sense of depth and realism.

I didn’t get an offer, but the experience itself felt professional and high-quality in how the interviewers represented the bar for the team.
