Delivery Hero Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

Hard

Negative

BerlinPosted Nov 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I struggled through a system design round that felt hectic and more like a grilling than a guided design discussion.

The interviewer made things difficult in a way that pushed the experience beyond what I expected for a system design interview.

It was my first time going through a system design round, and because of how the conversation was handled, it never felt comfortable for me.

I didn’t get an offer, and the main thing I took away was how the interview format and interviewer style can completely change how manageable system design feels.
