Delivery Hero Software Engineer interview experience

The interviewer gave me enough time to think and work through it together, which helped me recover instead of feeling shut down.

In the hiring manager interview, we had a deep conversation about my favorite technical skills. That seemed to carry into the next round, where I had another problem to solve but it felt easier because we’d already talked enough for me to relax.

I didn’t get an offer, but the interview experience itself felt positive and collaborative, with the tone changing in a good way as the rounds progressed.
