My process followed a pretty common SWE structure with five stages: a short HR screen, a technical round with a very easy coding problem, a system design round, a behavioral round, and then a bar raiser modeled after the general idea of an Amazon bar raiser.

The early technical interview felt easy—mostly common technical questions plus an extremely light coding task, and we even had extra time to discuss things. That said, system design wasn’t my strongest area, and I got rejected after waiting for more than a week.

What bothered me most was the lack of feedback at all. I felt I did the basics well—understood the problem, worked through constraints, asked questions, listened to suggestions, and even built an API and diagrams—but I didn’t get any concrete feedback to understand where I missed the mark.
