Dayforce Software Engineer interview experience

I was asked a total of five questions spanning JavaScript, SQL, and algorithm/system-design topics.

The whole thing was mostly manageable, and the interviewers were good—engaged without making it stressful. It came across like they were testing breadth across common web-and-database fundamentals rather than pushing for deep, difficult proofs.

I didn’t end up getting an offer, but the experience itself was smooth from start to finish. I remember thinking the format was fair and not designed to catch me off guard.
