Boston, MAPosted Nov 2018 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

The interview process took a bit over two months, and it became its own full-time commitment.

I ended up doing five video hangouts, with the early interviews going well and with feedback improving my sense of how to show up for the later rounds.

Most of the conversations were with data scientists, which made the format feel coherent—until the very last round. The final interview was with a vice president, and it shocked me how different the experience was from everything that came before. The call didn’t feel like it was being taken seriously: he didn’t really engage in a normal video conversation and didn’t turn on his camera even though I was dressed and ready for a video
