I went into my interviews expecting a sales role process that would build from recruiter conversations into role play, but what I experienced felt unnecessarily hostile and exhausting.

Even before I got to live interviews, I’d heard the culture could be toxic, and I saw a version of that during the SA manager stage.

The format pushed hard on proving I could “sell” the platform as if I’d already been working there. I was grilled directly in a way that felt like I had to perform like I was inside the company, not like I was being evaluated fairly for a future role. On top of that, the process had a lot of friction and disruption: rescheduling happened, and there were tense one-on-one recordings and even senior management no-shows during scheduled moments.
