I kept it simple and applied at the store, then went home and filled everything out before returning it.

I made sure I looked professional when I came back, and the interview ended up being pretty laid back, with the store manager sitting with me in the furniture area. The conversation mostly covered why I wanted to work there and what I thought good customer service meant.

What surprised me was how quickly it all moved—rather than a drawn-out process, I was offered the job on the spot and put on the schedule for the following week. Overall it felt very easy and straightforward, like the decision was made quickly once they met me in person.
