Cox Automotive Software Engineer interview experience

MediumAustinCandidate report, summarized by Dataford

My experience ended up centered on a long final round: a six-hour virtual interview.

It felt like the kind of session where you’re expected to stay sharp and keep working through multiple parts of the evaluation without a break in momentum. I focused on demonstrating strong problem-solving and consistent reasoning across the session.

There wasn’t an offer reported from this stage, and the main thing that stuck with me was just the sheer length—after hours of back-to-back exchanges, it was hard not to feel the pressure to keep performing at the same level the whole way through.
