San Diego, CAPosted May 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had an interview that felt like a mismatch from the start because I couldn’t understand the interviewer’s accent well enough to follow what he was asking.

After the call ended, I realized what the questions were actually pointing to and thought I could’ve answered them correctly if I’d understood.

I emailed the correct answers afterward, but it didn’t change how my skills were assessed. In the end, I felt like my abilities weren’t accurately evaluated. The difficulty level on paper was average, but the real problem wasn’t the technical challenge—it was communication. The experience left me frustrated because it felt like I lost ground due to something outside my control, and it didn’t get corrected.
