My interview process took a long time—seven rounds over roughly two months—and I didn’t receive an offer.

The whole thing ended with feedback saying I lacked leadership qualities they were looking for.

What stood out to me was how many stages they ran and how little it felt like those stages were connected to a real hiring plan. The scheduling and question flow felt disorganized, with rounds like a leadership-style director conversation and a product walkthrough being arranged even though it didn’t seem like there was any intention to hire. During interviews, it felt like the interviewers weren’t fully engaged or they didn’t ask questions that matched what they later claimed I was missing.
