After a brief HR screening, I moved into a technical screening where I solved the coding problem efficiently and the interviewer seemed pleased with my performance.

On paper it felt like a strong interaction, and I was pretty confident coming out of it.

Still, I ended up getting rejected despite the positive vibe during the screen. There wasn’t much extra context after that, so it felt like the decision didn’t quite match what I experienced in the moment.

I didn’t receive an offer, and the main thing I carried away was a lingering uncertainty—if the interview felt successful on the technical side, the rejection made it harder to understand what actually tipped the final decision.
