My process started fairly early with recruiter-style screening and then quickly moved into multiple conversations with managers and leaders.

I ended up going through several rounds where the emphasis wasn’t really on technical “know the product” questions so much as sales process, attitude, and character. Even when I expected more role-specific depth, a lot of what I faced was more generic interview-style probing.

Midway through, I had to do a presentation and pitch work that focused on how I’d approach prospects and a territory—building a structured way of thinking rather than demonstrating deep product trivia. There was a lot of discussion and follow-up around why I’d chosen certain accounts and how I’d plan the first stretch
