Collins Aerospace Software Engineer interview experience

Even though there were some technical questions, there weren’t many, and the dominant theme was assessing whether I’d be a good match for the team.

The conversation itself was relaxed enough that it didn’t feel like an interrogation. They focused on how I approached situations and how I handled collaboration, and they gave time for me to ask questions at the end.

I didn’t receive an offer, but the process left me with the impression that communication and team fit mattered as much as anything technical. Overall it was an easygoing experience, even if it didn’t end the way I wanted.
