Collins Aerospace Software Engineer interview experience

That part was much more relaxed than I expected—there weren’t any technical questions at all. Instead, they were mainly interested in how I’d use a particular Microsoft Project Management tool, the kind of thing they seemed to treat as important.

The most noticeable feeling was how non-technical the conversation stayed, despite the software role. The interview didn’t end up leading to an offer, but the process itself was easy to follow because the questions were very specific to that tooling and less about coding or engineering fundamentals.
