My HR interaction turned tense late in the process, and I ultimately felt the interview format wasn’t mutually clarified.

HR discussion about process and expectations — I reviewed the role structure and interview format and realized it wasn’t aligned with what I was comfortable with.
Follow-up clarification attempt — I expressed concerns and tried to get mutual clarity, but the call became tense and ended abruptly. Outcome: I didn’t move forward; the takeaway was that respectful, two-way alignment on format matters early.
