Los Angeles, CAPosted Jun 2022 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I got put through a very drawn-out sequence for a technical position—six interviews with different team members to evaluate culture fit and role fit.

I was able to gauge the real workload and understand that there was a genuine need for the role, but the process dragged into a long wait afterward. Communication delayed for weeks with lots of progress updates that didn’t lead anywhere, and after about two months I finally got a call saying they were ready if I was still interested, then I responded. The next communication cycle felt like it was closing the door, with a message that they’d decided to put this and other positions on hold. It ended as a super frustrating experience despite the friendly interviewers early on.
