My interview process lasted a while—roughly a month and a half overall—and it was pretty clear they were trying to make sure the match to their values and culture was right, not just the technical score.

I ended up with five interviews total, and one of the rounds had a role-play component that felt intimidating going in. Still, they were fairly transparent upfront about what the process would look like and what they were offering.

I also experienced another version of the long journey where it stretched across several months, with an interview that included a hiring manager and then additional team members. That one felt pleasant too, even with the waiting.
