My interview felt laid back and conversational rather than overly formal.

I got asked questions that were tied to the company’s products, and I realized quickly that I really had to dig into their website to have solid answers.

The timing was fairly quick and I heard back within a week. Even though I didn’t get the job, I respected the company’s reputation and the interaction itself. At the same time, I couldn’t ignore the mixed signal from external feedback about their sales team, which made the final “not selected” feel more disappointing than surprising.
