My interview started with a first-stage call with a manager, and then the next step was a second-stage sales role play.

It was clearly an interview that cared a lot about product knowledge, because I had to know the company’s products very well to do well. The role play itself wasn’t framed as an easy warm-up—it felt like a genuine evaluation of how I’d think and sell.

Even with that structure, it was still a tough process for me. I didn’t proceed to the next step after that sales role play, so the journey ended earlier than I’d expected. The overall feeling was that it was not forgiving if the product depth wasn’t there, and I walked away realizing how strict they were about that piece.
