My process started with a recruiter-type experience that quickly gave me context on the company and how things worked internally.

Even though it stretched on longer than I expected, it was informative and it made the culture feel tangible rather than abstract.

The best part was that it didn’t stop at standard conversations. I ended with a call with the CEO that felt genuinely interesting and helped fill in the bigger picture of what the business cared about. I didn’t end up getting an offer, but the overall feel for me was positive because the whole run-through was clear, engaging, and grounded in real information.
