My interview felt like it was centered around definitions and core implementation understanding.

In one round, I was pulled into Java OOP concepts—classes, objects, inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation and abstraction—along with topics like exception handling, interfaces, SOLID principles, configuration-related method versus service, and memory management through garbage collection. They also probed specific details like constructor visibility and static-related behavior.

Across the discussion, the style was very particular. The interviewer expected clean, precise definitions and didn’t seem satisfied by real-time examples; they wanted terms that matched what they were looking for.
