I applied and the whole loop moved quickly—about a week from start to finish.

The interviews were online over Zoom, and I ended up speaking with a technical interviewer, then a manager, and finally HR. The technical part focused on core Java topics like collections and multithreading, plus Java 8 features such as streams.

The manager interview was shorter and more conversational, mostly grounded in my projects and the role I’d played, and it also touched on design patterns I’d used or knew about. I didn’t get bogged down in generic “why are you changing jobs” style questions for long, but it still had that same overall check on fit and how I’d work.
