My interviews themselves were fine in terms of how the technical conversation went—the interviewer was good and the interaction didn’t feel confusing.

The part that sourly stuck with me was the HR call.

During the HR stage, I felt like my salary expectations were handled in a way that was unprofessional. The conversation used harsh wording, and it made the whole discussion feel like it wasn’t respectful or grounded in normal negotiation. I remember walking away feeling like the tone crossed a line.

In the end, I didn’t get an offer. Honestly, what made it the most memorable wasn’t the technical content at all—it was that the HR interaction felt unethical and disrespectful to the process.
