My process was two rounds total, and it split cleanly into HR first and a client-facing conversation second.

The first round was with HR, where they went through the role and responsibilities. It was straightforward and focused more on the fit between what I wanted and what the team needed.

The second round was with the client side. That interview leaned into scenario-based questioning, where I had to respond to practical situations rather than just recite my background. The whole thing was about 30 minutes, and I left with the sense they were impressed by how I handled the scenarios.

Even with that good feeling, it didn’t turn into an offer for me.
