My first step with Citco felt almost too lightweight to be a real interview.

It was a WhatsApp phone call for about 15 minutes, and the whole thing happened because the process relied on a platform with poor video support—so it wasn’t a Teams-style setup for me.

The conversation was brief and the questioning stayed pretty minimal. I remember thinking it barely felt like an interview, more like a quick check-in than a deep dive into my background. The format never really turned into a structured technical conversation, so I didn’t get a clear picture of how they were evaluating fit, and it didn’t feel very rigorous overall.
