San Francisco, CAPosted Feb 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My process for Cisco was intense and stretched over about three months.

I interviewed around February 2023, and it was a tough, three-round sequence. The first part focused on how networks worked, then I got a live coding round, and the third round turned into technical trivia.

Even though the technical scope was hard, the interviewers were actually very personable. They talked through the problems with me and followed up with increasingly challenging questions as the interview went on. I remember feeling like I had to stay sharp continuously because each answer unlocked the next layer.

I didn’t receive an offer, but I left feeling like the difficulty was real
