Ciena Software Engineer interview experience

After that, I ended up with multiple panel interviews rather than a single panel, largely because scheduling conflicts shifted the order and who I met.

By the end, the thing that stuck with me most wasn’t the difficulty of the technical questions—it was how the full process timing affected me and how little communication I got afterwards. Even after follow-ups, there weren’t meaningful updates, and I basically had to infer the result from the job listing disappearing. The lack of professional courtesy about the timeline left a negative impression for me.
