Ciena Network Engineer interview experience

I was contacted to schedule an interview for the next day, and I showed up expecting to move forward. On the scheduled day, they told me they needed to reschedule because of a meeting. That was understandable, but when the interview was actually set for another day, they abruptly said they couldn’t hire me because I wasn’t B.Tech—even though my resume had already been shared. It was hard not to feel like they hadn’t done the basic prereq checks before pulling me into interviews.
