I went through a compact phone-only sequence before anything else.

First there was a technical call where I was asked basic C++ questions along with data structure and logic-style puzzles. The second phone round was a step deeper: still C++, but now with design patterns and operating systems topics mixed in.

What threw me off was that they wanted me to produce an exact code snippet live during the call, which didn’t feel realistic under the pressure of a phone screen. I tried to work through it anyway, but I couldn’t clear the second round. After that, the interview loop moved toward an in-person stage, but I didn’t reach it that time.
