San Francisco, CAPosted Aug 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I moved quickly through the coding parts but later felt the evaluation focused on nitpicky omissions and unclear expectations.

Recruiter chat — initial scheduling and logistics.
Phone screen — a coding interview followed by follow-up questions.
Virtual onsite panel — two technical rounds plus a design and culture-fit component.
Evaluation discrepancy — I answered and finished quickly, but later learned I “didn’t pass” due to something I supposedly omitted, even though the interviewer agreed the corner cases weren’t accounted for in the problem space. Outcome: No offer; I learned to confirm explicitly whether specific edge handling will be required for scoring.
