I went through a fairly standard Chime Software Engineer loop (recruiter → coding/system design → manager/product-style rounds) with mostly average difficulty and mixed feelings on some interviewer clarity.

Recruiter screen — A phone call to align on my background, the role, and expectations.
Technical interview — Mostly LeetCode-style coding problems, sometimes via a structured platform.
System design — A system design round; in one case it felt a bit unclear or oddly run.
Manager / people-focused round — A deeper technical scenario discussion with the manager and/or leadership-focused behavioral conversations.
Onsite: multi-round day — In some variants, a four-round day combined coding, system design, and product/behavioral check-ins. Outcome: No offer in this
