San Francisco, CAPosted May 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I was tested on fundamentals early, with one round focusing on designing a credit card rather than heavy system work.

Recruiter screen — a recruiter call to review my background.
Technical data-structure challenge — an assignment involving different data structures, with my work starting from hash/array-style problems.
Coding/architecture-style challenge: credit card design — I designed a credit card system; it wasn’t framed as extremely hard, and the main difficulty was clarifying conditions and keeping the discussion organized. Outcome: No offer; the rounds were manageable, but I didn’t make it past the technical/assignment stage.
