I went through an extensive, drawn-out interview process for a Software Engineer position at Chetu that ended without an offer and felt frustratingly slow.

Many technical rounds — I encountered a large number of technical discussions and questions across multiple stages.
Salary/HR negotiation focus — After disclosing my expected salary, HR reportedly negotiated around a 6-month appraisal policy and pushed back on terms. Outcome: No offer, and the main takeaway was that the process stretched for almost a month and the negotiation felt unexpectedly difficult.
