I went through a take-home and then a couple of technical touchpoints, and the biggest frustration was the timeline and the final communications.

HR screen / availability — I talked with HR about my availability and what I was aiming for.
Take-home assignment — I completed a home test after the HR call.
Team lead follow-up — I was told I passed and that they’d place me with a team, and then the team lead reached out.
Technical interviews — I had two technical interviews after the take-home.
Wrap-up via phone calls — I later missed a call, then got a positive call, and shortly after they called again to decline my application, relying heavily on phone contact. Outcome: No offer; I ultimately didn’t move
