I interviewed for a Software Engineer role and, despite making progress, the process felt discouraging due to communication and interview-experience issues.

Initial screening / early stages — I started with HR and completed early checks.
Technical quiz / assessment — I took an online technical quiz/quiz-style test (with time-bound instructions), after which communication stalled.
Interviews with teams — In separate parts of similar experiences, I had interviews where the tone felt unprofessional or decisions seemed predetermined.
Extended waiting and unclear outcomes — I also experienced long delays and conflicting messaging (being told I passed, then later being told other candidates were needed). Outcome: No offer;
