C.H. Robinson Account Executive interview experience

Chicago, ILPosted May 2016 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for an Account Executive role at CH Robinson, and the process felt drawn out and low-energy, focused more on routine work than a high-touch sales pitch.

Day-to-day session with seasoned employees — I was brought in and made to sit with more experienced employees to walk through what the job looked like day to day.
Role expectations / practical fit — The discussion centered on routine activities, with an emphasis on data entry and day-to-day sales tasks rather than big-picture strategy or performance.

Outcome: I didn’t move forward, and I left feeling the process lacked enthusiasm and didn’t align with what I expected from an Account Executive interview.
