Cengage Software Engineer interview experience

I had one-on-ones with the manager and then with their manager, and after that there were group interviews with other people I would likely work with.

Everyone was friendly and not especially intimidating, but the questions were still substantial. The difference between “friendly” and “easy” was clear—people were evaluating deeper than just basics, and I had to think through more meaty topics across the loop. I left with a stronger sense of how the team talked and operated, but I didn’t end up getting an offer.
