I went through a tough process for an Account Executive–type track, and it mostly turned into a test of whether I could actually perform.

After the early conversations, I had to complete a project and then present the courseware to the hiring team.

The overall experience felt demanding rather than purely conversational. I was essentially put in a role-play setting where it felt like I was teaching—talking like I was in front of a classroom instructor or presenting to a committee—so it wasn’t just answering questions. Even though the format was clear, the time and effort required made it feel difficult, and I didn’t end up with an offer.
